historical heart of Spoleto in Umbria, a perfect location for an unforgettable stay in central Italy. It is artistically located at the foot of a long uphill stairway which leads from the Roman Forum to the religious heart of the city. In fact, it, alongside the Cathedral and the Theatre, seals on the southeastern corner one of the most beautiful squares in Italy: Piazza del Duomo, brought to worldwide fame by the Spoleto Festival (formerly, the Festival of Due Mondi).

Its 17th-Century façade is beautified not only by the dividing lines (marcapiani) that mark its various floors, but also the stucco frames decorating the windows, and the imposing portal of locally sculpted stone. From its windows, the guests can enjoy the magnificent view of the piazza stretching beneath, as well as the beautiful Spoletine valley. The edifice is gifted with a spacious outdoor garden, situated as a terrace and complete with arbors, roses and lawn, which follows the natural declivity of the hill, dominated at the top by the imposing castle (Rocca Albornoziana).

The finely renovated and restored internal spaces, though having in common wonderful cotto floors, are set apart from each other by their peculiar individual traits, tailored to adapt to each guest’s needs, not only in size, but also in taste.

Photogallery

[/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” el_class=”home_slide”][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]

["post-759","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
